Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2015This is an excellent, modern, and detailed review of crystals and crystal oscillators by a highly experienced professional. It's very informative, but it is not a large book and if you want a full picture you will need a few other books as well. For a deeper review of phase noise issues I recommend "Phase Noise and Frequency Instability in Oscillators", by Enrico Rubiola. For an interesting historical perspective, a nice read is "Crystal Clear: the Struggle for Reliable Communications Technology in WWII", by Richard Thompson.
